My name is Eva Volin, and I'm a children's librarian across the Bay in Alameda. A group of us are putting together a workshop in early March for librarians who want to know more about ebooks and other new technologies and how parents are using them with their children.

I'm currently in search of someone who can speak on the topic of modern parents and how they are using new media (ebooks, apps, streaming video, etc.) as well as social media, and how families are taking advantage of all these new options.

I'm hoping you will be interested in speaking on this topic or can recommend someone who would be interested in helping Bay Area librarians learn about these "new Books." The entire program will only last about two hours (there are several speakers) and there is an honorarium.
