My name is Eva Volin, and I'm a children's librarian across the Bay in Alameda. A group of us are putting together a workshop in early March for librarians who want to know more about ebooks and other new technologies and how parents are using them with their children.
I'm currently in search of someone who can speak on the topic of modern parents and how they are using new media (ebooks, apps, streaming video, etc.) as well as social media, and how families are taking advantage of all these new options.
I'm hoping you will be interested in speaking on this topic or can recommend someone who would be interested in helping Bay Area librarians learn about these "new Books." The entire program will only last about two hours (there are several speakers) and there is an honorarium.
Thank you for considering. I appreciate any help you can give.
Hi Megan. I see that the Adobe RAMBO is closed because you have the required entrants. Have you contacted everyone b/c I'm on page 3 and by the guidelines should have qualified. Could you let me know? Thanks so much.
Thanks, Megan. I am totally impressed with this network. I welcome your ideas for connecting with even more moms who want to be making healthy and eco-friendly decisions for themselves and their families.
Do you have an interest in green living at your house?
Is there a list of winners from the twittermom twitter party from Friday yet? Was loking around but not sure where to look. Thx a bunch for all you do. You make everything fun for us. It's a nice escape from our hectic mom days.
