I am just reading your comment today that you left it a while back for me! So sorry. I haven't logged onto this site in a while. I'd love to network with other mom's in Colorado. Most of my Mom friends live in Massachusetts. And now that I am back to work full time I am not at the school everyday so I don't know as many people.
btw I have been a fan of Pikes Peak Parent on FB for a while now. GREAT information.
Swing by my website and enjoy the funny side of being a woman. "Southern Ladies Business" is a tri-weekly humor blog about motherhood, men, aging and life in America. Feel free to browse, "Past Blogs." Some of my favorite ones are posted there. Subscribe, and receive an email when I post. It's free! http://southernladiesbusiness.com/
The Pioneers Museum is having a free event, Hooray for Colorado Day, tomorrow starting at 10 a.m. Some of the activities include chalk art, egg and spoon races, balloon animals, a scavenger hunt and free ice cream. For complete information see events.gazette.com.
The weather forecast is partly cloudy, a high of 80 degrees.
Happy Friday to all.
Hey ladies, enjoying the cooler weather? On gazette.com: 52 degrees with an expected high of 68. Not bad. There is a thunderstorm lurking, however. So, remember those umbrellas. Hope you're all having a great day. What's up?
Aha! That's how I knew your name! I think we met at Med Cafe a couple years ago. I have never been to the AuthorFest but am teaching at workshop this year. Seems like a lot more women than men, but that's usually the case with the PP Writers Conference too.
I've got tons of parenting articles if you ever need filler. Just tell me where to send a list. Lisa used a couple but I can't remember which for the life of me... ; )
Tell Steve I said hello. I haven't seen him in a few years I think!
Glad you joined Twitter Moms! Sounds like you're a busy mom! My children are both in college now (Stanford Medical School and Claremont McKenna College) and I'm reaching out to share some tips that worked for me when I was raising little ones.
I set up a preschool for my daughters that set them up to be top of their kindergarten classes (and all the way through school). By inviting a few other students to join the program (for a fee), all of my expenses were covered so I had the best preschool for free! Besides enjoying the ability to set up the perfect program, one that I developed specifically for my daughters, I also received prepared dinners, a clean house, and folded laundry at the end of the day! All for free.
I've written a book to show other super moms how to set this up for their families. It's called "The Working Mother's Guide to FREE Child Care in Your Home!" I also offer consultation to help you get started and to be there when you need support, guidance, or just a friend to talk to!
Whether you're a stay-at-home or a working mom, this program gives you the freedom to have your cake and eat it too! I enjoyed being a mom, working in a career I love, and watching my girls blossom with a program that I set up just for them. They now tell me that it was the best gift I could have given them!
Great to have you here! We've got an incredible group of women connecting on all sorts of topics, so kick back and make yourself at home. Check out the Twittermoms groups (we have something for everybody). The Twittermoms discussions are quite entertaining, too. Or, just get to know your fellow Twittermoms by browsing some Twittermoms profiles or searching for moms who share your interests, add friends, and start twittering with some incredibly smart and interesting moms.
PS: Let your friends know when you're on twittermoms with a click of the Announce Yourself link in your welcome box. If your Twitter friends are interested, they can check out the cool new place you've found!
