Great to have you here! We've got an incredible group of women connecting on all sorts of topics, so kick back and make yourself at home. Check out the SocialMoms groups (we have something for everybody). The SocialMoms discussions are quite entertaining, too. Or, just get to know your fellow SocialMoms by browsing some SocialMoms profiles or searching for moms who share your interests, add friends, and start twittering with some incredibly smart and interesting moms.

Welcome! You will feel right at home here! We, at Save Million Trees want to welcome you to find out about our Kids Go Green campaign - where we donate free recycling bins to preschools and schools. Elementary student produces average 99 lb of paper waste in a school year. Most schools do not have effective recycling programs - so we decided to donate them to schools! We donate small, desk-size recycling bins to preschools and elementary schools - and it forces kids to have to choose every time they throw something away. Bins in classrooms increase recycling by 80%. See our website for more information http://www.save1000000trees.org
We also help families to reduce their impact in our beautiful nature - we help people to reduce the amount of junk mail they receive. 100 million trees are cut yearly to produce junk mail. Transporting and producing junk mail creates more greenhouse gas emissions than 9 million cars. Most of it ends up in the landfill - unopened. We want to change that by helping people to reduce the amount of junk mail they receive. This is all for free. We do not charge fees for joining. All we ask is for you to help make this bigger by spreading the word - the more people join in, the bigger the impact in both schools and households.
