I'm back from the holiday hiatus after a chaotic December personally and professionally and excited to be on the newly-named SocialMoms.com.
To start off the year, I thought I'd take a look at some of my more popular TwitterMoms blog posts from 2010.
1) Facebook: A Blessing and a Curse - This post took at look at how I experienced devastating news at the hands of Facebook, yet also gained something very positive from the experience, as well. Have you ever gotten bad news via social networking instead of in person? It's no fun.
2) What the Heck is a Hashtag? This is one of my all time favorite posts, because it's something I struggled with as well in my early days on Twitter. It explains the meaning and uses of the elusive Hashtag (or pound sign) you see used on Twitter and it's one I frequently share when asked about the hashtag.
3) Rock on! The Power of Twitter Parties - Another favorite of mine, because I love the good ol' Twitter party. If you don't know what a Twitter party is or how it can help your business, you should definitely take a read.
4) 6 Ways to Upgrade Your Social Media Marketing - A quick overview of six simple things you can do this week to improve your business' use of social media as a marketing and PR tool.
5) Facebook Places Finally Gets in the Game with Deals - This post hits on the popular trend of geolocation tools like Foursquare and Gowalla and discusses Facebook's strategic move into the location game.
Which post is your favorite? Anything I should be sure to cover this year? Let me know!
