Being pregnant really is a beautiful experience and being able to stay stylish while your body is changing is an added perk! Let’s take a peek at a few maternity staples:

The Liz Lange Long and Lean Tank available at Target, $9.99 is a basic staple that can be worn in these hot summer months and would look great with anything from jeans, a skirt, to shorts.

The Spaghetti Strap Maxi Dress, by a pea in the pod, $118 is for the mama that would still like to be able to wear one of the hottest trends and really show off her bump!

Ruffles are another hot, hot trend this season and the Pintucked Flutter Top, by the Gap, $49.50 can be dressed up or down. If you would like to dress up your look pair with a skirt and to dress down a pair of cropped denim maternity jeans.

The Japanese Weekend Weekend Maternity Shorts, $54, offer a belly panel along with a drawstring waist and surely can grow with your ever growing belly. Pair these shorts with either of the tops shown for an easy yet stylish outfit.

The Be Band Maternity Band, $16.99, is the perfect solution for when you just start to show but are not quite ready for maternity pants, the band holds up your unbuttoned pants. For mid to late pregnancy it holds up your pants when your belly pushes your pants down. For postpartum it can be worn over your too big maternity pants or still tight pre-pregnancy pants.

Go ahead and sport that baby bump in style, it truly is one of the hottest fashion accessories and should be worn with pride!

Maternity clothes are so much better now then when I had my first 13 years ago because they now embrace the bump not try to hide it!

I agree maternity fashions have gotten better since I've had kids. Granted my kids are that old but its amazing what happens.

When I was pregnant a few years ago, I was so happy about the selection of maternity wear available on the market - that was THEN. Today's clothing for pregnant women is even better - so much selection and something for every fashion taste.
