I used to think that slumped shoulders were just a part of Motherhood.

After all, I had a baby carrier to haul and a full diaper bag to schlep, groceries to carry, toddler hands to hold, and of course TLC to give. All the jobs of motherhood seemed to be turning my back into mush and hunching my shoulders forward.

Until I started paying attention to my posture.

In today's Fit Mommy Friday at Midwest Moms there are tips on when, where, and how to get rid of the Mommy-slouch.

Come on by and take a look. Then you can take the time to straighten and strengthen your own body every day.

Another great tip. I needed physical therapy after nursing for a year. It really messed up my posture. It's good to call attention to this for other moms.
