It was recommend that my daughter NOT get the vaccine, since we have a history of very bad cases of chicken pox (and infestitious?). Both us and the doctor were concerned about her contracting the chicken pox when she was older. as the vaccine is no guarentee that someone won't get the pox. Both my kids have given the virus to children that had been vaccinated.
