     I have to say my husband was right about the camping thing.  Not that I didn't jump on board the camping trailer so to speak, but I was skeptical about our ability to all enjoy a trip in a smaller, less comfortable version of our house in an RV park with state parks as entertainment.  So far we have not been able to go camping as much as we wanted to but I have to say that this last weekend, labor day weekend, 2011...was a raging success.  With all of us.

Like most families, we've made some adjustments for our summer plans.



A trip we take nearly every August to Big Sur got scrubbed. Instead, an economical visit to family in Los Angeles substituted. (Economical in that hotels, car rentals are not needed.)
