Goodbye July!

Today is officially the last day of July. I can't believe this summer has been flying by so fast. It feels like yesterday I was getting out the summer clothes and planning Raelyn's birthday festivities. It feels like time is just passing me by! And has anyone else noticed that it seems like it's already starting to get dark out sooner? Apparently, a cold front is coming through as well so this last day of July is feeling more like mid-September. I'm not ready yet!…

Basil: Get it While it's Fresh

The fresh scent of fresh basil reminds me of my childhood. My

aunt used to always make the most incredible sauces with the fresh, fragrant herb-and

every time I’d enter her house, you could smell the clean, scent of it.

Basil is so versatile–great for salads and garnishes as well as

dressings and sauces. Auntie used it in all of the above, and I’m not

sure she even realized how many benefits she was adding to her meal– in

addition to unforgettable taste! A whiff of… Continue

Did You Ask?

With so many joyous things that has been happening with my blog over the last couple of weeks, my heart is acking. I am a person that reads a lot. Part of my reading is in the news. Whether it is in politics, national, world, sports, gossip, or local. Lately, there have been a lot of stories in the abuse and killings of young children: The most important blessing that you have received from God.

The stories have made me sad, angry, and confused. It is confusing to me that…

The Cyber Kingdom of God

But the crowds found out and followed Him, and He welcomed them

and spoke to them concerning the kingdom of God; and those who had need

of healing, He healed.,
Luke 9:11
...Who would have ever thought,

you could join a social network, and the power of the Lord, be

revealed. Read a blog and know in your heart, that He is real...speaking

to His beloved still.

@$#*%! Friday! New Spice & Big Ass Tables!

So I said to myself, “Self…you have been sorely neglecting your duties as Mayor of late…”. Myself responded with a rude gesture & a string of expletives that made even me blush. Then I was clocked over the head with a calendar. A sad reminder that September is looming, & with it, the two things I struggle with the most…the loss of my babies back to the school system, & the impending arrival of…

The Good, The Bad, and The Potty: Otto Starts Toilet Learning and a Bunch of AWESOME Moms Tell Us What They Thought About Their Kids' Training Potties

Otto Starts Toilet Learning; The Crowd [me] Goes Wild!

A few days ago Otto stood up during his bath and gave me a funny little look. He was standing in a funny little way and I just knew what was going down: he had to go potty. So I said, "do you want to sit on the toilet and go pee?" and he said, "da" (which means yes, though lately he's more likely to say "yeeeeyahhh" like he's from Chicago, which is freaking… Continue

How the sleeping sack impact our little ones sleep?

I have two young kids. They kicked off blanket all the time and I found sleeping sack is very good solution. But the polyester filling made my daughter sweat a lot and she had an alergical reaction to the man-made fiber. I ended up designing natural and eco-friendly sleeping sack by using mulberry silk floss filling which is super soft, breathable, hypo-allergenic and chemical free and sustainalbe material. My daughter loves it and has a better sleep routine since then.

I feel good…

Do You Need Proven Business Start-Up Advice?

I meet a lot of people who have an idea for a business. Like you, they currently have a job but wish they knew enough to take a risk. All they are looking for is a little business start-up advice. And the first thing I tell them to do is to create their information products.

That begs the question, "What is an information product?" An information product is any knowledge in your head that others would find…
