As the weather starts to warm up many of us will be cleaning out the closets and replacing the long sleeves with short sleeves and packing away the sweat pants. Unfortunately, with our children we know that also means a possible new wardrobe for the spring because they have most likely grown out of last years.
Bella and Gracie's has a new line of dresses called "Pillowcase Dresses". Yes, some of them are actually made out of pillowcases,…

Bella and Gracie's will be offering several spa products for the spring. In honor of this, the next months blog will be focused on easy, home beauty recipes. A lot of research has been done in order for Bella and Gracie's to offer quality natural spa products at a reasonable price. During this time several recipes were found that have to be used immediately but are too easy and fun not to share. Sooo, while you are making breakfast, make yourself a facial as well. Here is how:
You…

When I started my website two years ago I thought it would bring me tons of business, after all I can reach people all over the world and at any time of the day. Little did I know the amount of networking and research I needed to do to get my site to even show up on a google or yahoo search.
After attending marketplaces and holiday events for the past year I have decided it is time to do something about my website so it will actually serve its purpose.
I have joined…

There is nothing like putting on a perfect pair of jeans with a tee. I was looking through my closet and tried on almost every pair recently. I have all shades of denim and various styles but not all were fit and flattering.
I'm tall and my biggest must-have in jeans is extra length especially length that works when dressing them up with heels. The next thing on the checklist is fit. And I know I'm not alone in trying to find that perfect pair of jeans which can be a challenge and…

While wandering around the craft store the other day, I decided to pick up some chalk board paint. I had been meaning to make something for my daughter, so I decided to get a wooden plaque and make her a Princess chalk board. After all, that's what she is, a princess!

I painted the board a light blue. I think it compliments the pink nicely. I then painted on the chalk board paint, glued on the wood "princess", and attached the ribbon for it to hang from. Voila! Easy,…

Small random acts of animal kindness' purpose is to drive funds and awareness towards animal rescue and adoption.
Each month a random homeless animal up for adoption on Petfinder.com (no affiliation, just a fan) and their rescue group would be targeted for mass small donations.
The idea is to pass on the link to the selected animals page by adding the link to email signatures, websites and blogs, and of course through social networking sites like twitter. The link has the…

I just joined today and I wanted to say hey to everyone. I am looking forward to getting to know new people from all over the US. I was just wondering if it takes a little bit of time for everyone to figure out how to set up their page or am I just not that web-savvy? Anybody got any tips for me as a newcomer?

I just started a new group on TwitterMoms called Nascar Moms. I am hoping that there are other Nascar Moms out there that want to join in. Come and join me there were we can talk about all things racing. I'd love to have you in the group - http://www.twittermoms.com/group/nascarmoms
I started watching Nascar a few years ago when I went to the Truck Race in Las Vegas, loved it from the moment I saw it. I live in Northern California which isn't really 'racing' country but I try to be…

So, my 20 month old daughter doesn't sleep through the night, never has. We've managed to get into a pretty good routine though, I rock her for 10 minutes at night and lay her down, awake or not. She will normally just roll over and go right to sleep. If not, I let her fuss for 5 minutes or so and then rock her (and nurse her if she asks) for 5 minutes and lay her back down. We very rarely repeat this, she almost always goes right to sleep the second time.
Then she is up two or three times…

Hello ladies, I am new to twitter. I have a couple of discussion links going looking for mamas (and daddies) who have lost a child, or gone through a traumatic event concerning a child. I would really like to start a group but am going to need members to get it going. The group is called Heavens Little Angels and it is in the process of being approved so be on the look out for it and join up or encourage others to join:). It would be a nice place to remember our lost little ones and to comfort…

Do you have an on-line craft biz? Do you twitter? Then this is the place to be.
Why?
I'm the frugal artisan. Which goes without saying I know a good value when I see it. This site is going to expand your audience.
The first thing that sets it apart is the '
Spotlight'. These are like an Etsy Treasury in which you pick items to show off in a little gallery. You can make a Spotlight…

With the stock market at levels lower than a decade ago, many would be understood for turning to a locked safe in their closet rather than a financial advisor.
They’d be wrong.
At their worst, granted, a financial advisor can be little better than a salesman hawking a time share in Florida — in the middle of the Everglades. At their best? A financial advisor can be someone who can help a family steer its finances towards solid financial footing. Now I’m not talking about…

When I was a little girl one of my first words was the 4 letter "S" word used by my dad during Louisville Cardinal and Cincinnati Reds games, alot. So when I grew up to start a website dedicated to teaching women about sports, few were very surprised. I recently asked my dad to be a part of my blog and start writing with me about what we love and what he wrote really surprised me . His first blog article ever is eerily similar to…
