- I am a mother to three terrific kids-a 14 year old and 7 year old twins, and wife of 22 years to my college sweetheart. I am a published author. My work has appeared in three books edited by Susan Heim, all about twins. The latest is Chicken Soup for the Soul: Twins and More.
I teach Hebrew school, am a PTA volunteer, and am a Daisy Scout leader.

- Thanks for the welcome and the blog invite. My daughter's new troop are first year Juniors. She was in Brownies and actually a year of Juniors before we moved (she was not in a troop this year, too busy with moving, etc) and I was a parent volunteer for 3.5 years with that and at many of the meetings and helped at field trips, etc. The new troop we just joined was in dire need of a co-leader or it was going to disband so I offered to do it so I'll soon be "official" instead of just a volunteer parent. I'm a little freaked but didn't want to see the troop end for my daughter's sake. She is very excited.
