A little about yourself...: I am Alice: mother, wife, writer, dreamer, traveller, animal lover, vegetarian, sometime gardener & crafty gal.

My first book ~ Tales from a Travelling Mum ~ was published in November 2009 and my articles have appeared in various publications including: National Geographic Traveller, Permaculture Magazine, JUNO, Spain Magazine, Living Abroad, Babyworld, to name a few. However, my real desire is to finish my travel-inspired novel, as I would love to make the move into fiction.

When not writing or travelling you will find me feeding the ducks from the narrowboat I live on near London, England. I also homeschool my young daughter.

How are you. Just got back from 10 day road trip with the kids all through Quebec in Canada in our little Prius. I know you have a trailer, but I have a whole new respect for your lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time, but cars, kids, luggage (and in your case a dog) can be exhausting after a while.
Trip highlight....beautiful 3 hour treck and picnic to the shoreline near the Fjords on The Saguenay River. It was a perfect day.
