A little about yourself...
I have 2 fantastic boys (4 and 2 years old) that are exactly 2 years apart (born on the same day). I love spending as much time outside with my family, my husband and I love camping, hiking and outdoor sports. I love to cook and entertain friends and family with new recipes. We moved to the Philadelphia area 3 years ago and since then I have become obsessed with gardening, I love it!! Our garden has grown and now we can pretty much skip the produce aisle during the gardening season. I think gardening and cooking is very cheap therapy.
I recently started my own business called O'Boy! Organic. O'Boy! offers services for parents such as "Baby Personal Chef" and "Parent Cooking Classes" we also provide "Cooking Parties" for children. Starting O'Boy! came naturally after becoming a mother and wanting the best possible foods for my growing family. I also saw as being a Community Marketing Specialist for HappyFamily Organics that parents had the desire to feed their children well but had NO idea how to do it. O’Boy! Organic is an extension of my life’s work as a mother and a teacher. All of the things that I provide with O’Boy! Organic are the same things I have been providing to my family and school children for years. My objective is to show parents and children that eating homemade organic food is easy and fun by providing tips and recipes to keep the magic I have experienced alive in your own homes as your child grows and grows.

Hey Trina,

Just thought I'd say "HI."

Oooh, being out in that sunshine following rain gardening sounds wonderful! I was so impressed with the farm, the permaculture aspects they are applying, etc. And I LOVED sharing food prep ideas and actual meals there, etc. I plan to visit again as soon as possible!

Tirzah and I go to Wilkes-Barre regularly on candle business/pleasure and sometimes fly in and out of Philly. Which direction are you from there?

Unpacked and readying for getting 'back in the saddle' tomorrow. Feelin groovy, ha!

Blessings!

Welcome to Nourishing Moms, Trina. Sounds like you've found some great choices in 'therapy' :) This weekend I'm at an organic farm, alone, beautiful solitude (have been off all things electronic til just now) and finding it therapeutic to tend the garden and the young chickies. And glad for the hot tub in the garden :) Have food prepared for everyone's return this afternoon, it was a joy to work in this spacious kitchen with such a gorgeous view, and so full of soul-nurturing colors and textures. And find it so satisfying to prepare truly nutritious foods (ala Nourishing Traditions).

Look forward to getting to know you!

Blessings...
