I decided not to put him into preschool when he was three, so I'm starting the big preschool search now. Some days I think my toddler is really a frog! He ribbits, gets down and jumps from a squatting position, sometimes makes a splashing noise.



Other days he seems to curl up in my lap and suddenly I hear a tiny "meow" come from his little mouth and a smile creeps across his lips.



Still other times I hear him pant like a dog followed by either a rough bark or a sweet little 'ruff ruff' as he tries to climb up on the couch or his brother!

Cutie Pie began the day pretending to be a train and running around the 'loop' in our house. This soon evolved into a game he was playing with Sweet Pea, which I loved (er, both the game and the fact that he made it up for Sweet Pea!) This is a short description of the game as it happened:

Nana and Papa have this really neat old style food scale on their kitchen table. We popped over there the other day and at some point in our quick visit each boy was up on the chair at the table weighing things. We loved this!
