- I am The Sports Daddy based in the state of hockey. My wife, The Sports Mom, aka Hockey Mom, write about raising our two kids with an emphasis on the sports angle. I am a former sportswriter, now interactive strategist/ stay at home dad. I met my wife on the softball fields, and it's been a sports marriage ever since.
