The Greatness Within

There is greatness within you that is swirling around trying to get out. Self sabotage is preventing it from coming out. You have to work from the present and not the past in order to successfully move forward.Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Now open your eyes and look around. Embrace your environment, take it all in. The people in it, the objects, the colors, the space. As you looking around, begin to take inventory of all the things that bring you joy. Create a list of what brings you…See More

Assess Your Life

Assess Your Life

As women we tend to juggle many things at once. We have our household, spouse/significant other, children, career, elderly parents, community service and the list could go on and on and on. We live very transitional lives. Because we are everything to so many people we find it difficult to enjoy a totally balanced life.

It is important to step off the life train and assess where you are, what you need to improve and where you need to go next. For years… Continue

Fundraising for Non-Profit Organizations

Non Profit Organizations are the backbone to our country. They provide the support to many programs that help many lives. Because these organizations are non-profit, they rely on donations and fundraisers to receive operational money.

In tough economic times you have to be more creative in your fundraiser efforts. I am a certified rep for a wonderful company named Compass. Compass is a life coaching program designed specifically to empower, inspire and connect women. The unique… Continue

I used to struggle with self sabotage. i overcame it by doing exactly what you said living from present not the past. keep up the great work. I have created a website that has made my children smile as well as others, & I want to share it with you. WWW.DEAR-SANTACLAUS.NET sends children personalized letters from Santa Claus. I remember when I was a little girl and I received a letter from Santa it was a memory I still hold dear to my heart. I started sending my own children letters, then my nieces & nephews. They all loved it. the excitement and energy was beautiful. It's already setting the tone for the holiday season. I encourage all you mothers to visit my website you wont be disappointed and your children will absolutely love it! Also Visit MAKESOMEONEHAPPY.ORG & order an "Letter of Encouragement". Same Concept just now letters are sent to: Troops overseas, mom, dad, any and everyone.

Hi Sherri,

I'm writing to introduce you to a new website I launched for Charlotte parents last month. Charlotte TRACKS, located online at www.charlottetracks.com, is an acronym for "Tools, Resources and Activities for Carolina Kids." As a local mom of three and a former magazine editor, I've come across lots of great resources for kids in the Charlotte region, so I decided to put them all on ONE website for local families to use. Charlotte TRACKS is also a social networking site for parents, so those who join can post blogs, forums, calendar events and other information for other parents to see. I started Triangle TRACKS at www.triangletracks.com for parents in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region a year ago, and it's doing very well out there, so I decided I would start one for Charlotte as well.

I wanted to reach out to you to find out if you could let our Charlotte friends know about this site via email, Twitter or other Charlotte social networking sites you belong to. And if you get a chance, let me know what you think of Charlotte TRACKS.

By the way, my Twitter URL is http://twitter.com/charlottetracks.

Thanks,
Elizabeth Shugg
