"Here is the final set of AFTER pictures.... Whatcha think??? I can't believe how long it took me. My hubby said I can have some $$$ from our income tax return to buy the new bedding. I'll add pictures of that on my blog. So keep a look…"
"Okay I'm officially done! Oh come on girls I can't be the only one to share my pics. That's no fun! Well maybe some After Shots will inspire you to share.... LOL
Here are the first three AFTER pictures..."
Yes, I hear you. And I suspect that there is a way that would prove energizing, as opposed to draining. Actually gradually (very gradually) moving that direction. My goal is to live in a boundless energy.
Good for you! Down-sizing "stuff" would be wise for many, I think. Have you seen any of the Simple Abundance books? I've made a bit of progress on that, but seems infinitesimal when compared with where I want to be with it.
I've given my daughter responsibility for her own space as well as for her own education, etc. Each of my children had to take care of their own laundry from about age 9 or 10 and such. I am VERY glad to hear of your choice to not try to make your daughters what you think they should be! I didn't understand that when my first four were young. Am so grateful to have "gotten" it in time for my youngest to benefit. And I agree about the closed bedroom doors being more bearable, ha!
Ha! I can so hear you on the benefits of losing internet connection! I usually don't allow myself online
til at least late morning. Would really like to shorten it a lot more, you know, get more focused and
productive!!! So, what are the best secrets you've found so far for functional living?
