Why I Wrote My Book

I wrote this book a year ago while on a flight from Los Angeles to New York City. I felt terrible leaving my young boys at home with my husband, especially since I worked full-time and weekends were for making up lost time together. I suppose writing this story eased my guilt and made me feel like I was taking steps to address a difficult topic for both me and my kids. My goal was to write a book for my then four year old son (that would be passed down to my younger son when he was ready)…
