Heaven help my husband. He's had to tolerate a few of my "latest phases" in our 10 years of marriage. There was the summer after I read "The Omnivore's Dilemma" that I wanted only to buy local produce and attempt to garden. That was the summer 60 loofah squashes overtook the yard, south side of the house and most of the deck. This for a vegetable we weren't even eating.
