This past Saturday, June 11, 2011... all five of my children and I stumbled out of bed before the crack of dawn to head to downtown St. Louis and participate in the largest Komen Race For The Cure in the nation. These past weeks I decided to conduct a little sociology experiment, I guess you could say. My sociology prof from my freshman year in college is smiling somewhere right now as he reads this. Think hard...do you remember the world before the days of TWITTER? It's funny, I joined it March 20, 2009, yet I just made a concentrated effort in the last 24 hours to make it up to 500 followers and 1000 people that I am following. I kept reading posts by other mothers who blog about how they had increased the following they had on twitter and the following had then increased on their blogs too.
