- My name is Felicia I am a new mother of a baby boy and I have a 12 year old stepson. I am also married to a wonderful business man. I am new to blogging and use it as a tool to counsel myself and to connect with other women wanting to have it all. Am I Becoming "That Woman"?
The other day, I was reflecting on my week (as I usually do) and I got a little nervous. I asked my husband am I becoming boring? Confused with my question and concerned where this is leading he asked, “Huh”? I repeated the question. I told him I was concerned that I am no longer the fun and spontaneous women anymore and that is a problem for me. Am I Stuck With This Body?
In college, I was very pleased with my body. I weighed about 120 lbs but looked like 100 lbs. As the exercising decreased I gained weight. By the time my college days were over I was 135 lbs, not bad at all. I was actually very pleased with that weight. The stress of working, being a lone, constant travel, happiness, marriage and kids had pushed me to a weight of 190 lbs. How Did I Become Supermom!
I wake up at the crack of dawn to get myself ready. I nurse the baby prior to getting dressed and I make a quick breakfast (yes, not fully dressed). After getting dressed and laying the baby back down, I’m off to work for about 8 hours. When I get in the house I immediately wash my hands because the baby will be thrown on me so hubby can go to work. To answer your questions:
For the "AS FEATURED IN" section: I just added a 'gadget' to my Blogger Layout (just got to dashboard, edit, layout...) and ADDED 'picture" as my gadget. I took a screen grab of that awesome lil headline I got over at "the cocktail cafe" and uploaded that pic with a link. I then named the picture "As featured in", and Voila! ... Im kinda new at this also, so nothing too fancy or complicated on my blog just yet.
As for the SITS badge, I did the same thing. I copied the picture I wanted on to my desktop- added it as a "picture gadget" and linked it to the sits site.
And as for subscribing? I think theres a button on the right where you can subscribe with or without a blog? Let me know if you have any issues.
