Tina Peterson said… - Hi Emily - I sell Usborne Books & More! and love it. I've discovered my passion is encourage strong family relationships through reading, playing games, fun activities & events. The company has given us the freedom to do almost anything we want with our business, we can work with libraries, schools, parents, booths, personal shopping appointments and our commission depends on what we put into it (work) and who we've sold to. We can do bookfairs, reading incentive programs, home shows, catalog shows, online parties (momchat.com). We have a website the company sets up & maintains for us - $50 a year. (I know some companies charge $20 a month on up). I am in the process of becoming a supervisor this year - and I've found that my enthusiasm has only grown the longer I do this.
Several things have really impressed me about Usborne - 1) They listen to consultants and make us a true partner in the success of Usborne. 2) This company is debt-free. How many businesses can say that? 3) The quality and the pride Usborne has in their product and the fact they stand behind their consultants AND their product.
I'd love to visit with you more if you'd like.
