Kutless Join the Family Tour
Last night was awesome. I haven't been to a show that good in years. Granted the kids fell asleep sometime in between the second band or the third band, for the exception of my boy. He actually got to see Kutless perform two songs before he knocked out. Clingy Boy
Wow it's almost the end of the day and it has seem like eternity for the night to come. My boy has been driving me crazy the past two weeks. I thought that I had trouble with his tantrums but this new phase that he is going through is really getting on my nerves. He is going through his clingy stage. He wants to be next to me at all times. Even when I am cooking, he pushes his way in front of me crying and wanting me to pick him up. Fighting between two sisters
It's been a while since I blogged and I am still dealing with my son's terrible two phase. He's been sick for the past two days and he is more clingy to me than before. In the midst of taking care of my sick boy, my two younger sisters decided to have an argument and they are trying to get me to take sides. I choose not to take sides because I know how it is when I am in disagreement with one of them. They get everybody to gang up on each other and I have always had the remainder of my family… Continue

Being Careful
Well another day has gone by and my boy seems to get into more things nowadays. He is getting smarter and braver. He has figured to pull the chairs whenever he wants something from the kitchen counter. So I realize that I need to remove the stuff that he can hurt himself with. He really wants to be a big kid like the girls. The girls get their own cups and get their own drinks so he just wants to do what they want to do. Terrible Two's Advice
Today I tried the advice that some of the twittermoms gave me on the discussion that I posted. I tried to go back to the same routine that I had before the girls went on Christmas Vacation. I put him down for his nap around noon, which gave me time to clean the kids' rooms and make phone calls. I got alot accomplished by trying to be on a schedule and being consistent and patient. I had to talk to my husband and have him help me alittle bit more due to our son acting up more. He seems to listen… Continue

The 2's are a time where they are playing with the idea of being independent as well as keeping tabs on mom. My daughter loved to clean.. you could give her a spray bottle with water and a wash cloth and she would clean the front of the fridge, oven, cabinets...ANYTHING while I was cooking, talking on the phone, etc....It made her feel so grown up and important and she could keep an eye on me. Maybe setting your son up with something sort of the same while trying to get things done. Eventually playing the walking away 2 or 3 times game to see how clingy they still are? Good Luck!!
