My child is breech. Again.

So remember when I said that this child is stubborn?Well, I wasn’t lying. He flipped. Again.Which means we’re on a one track train towards c-section-ville.Don’t worry, I’ve still got five pieces of entertainment for ya today:1. The season finale of Honey Boo Boo (which I literally just got done forcing my hubs to watch with me) was pretty epic. If you consider kiddie Glitz pageants to be…you know…epic. Okay, let’s be honest: it’s just one of those things that you can’t turn away from. Loves…See More

Ten things I won't miss about pregnancy

Ok, I have to admit that I really don’t mind being pregnant – in the whole sense of we get a baby out of the deal and all. That being said, the end of pregnancy really makes you appreciate the whole…not being pregnant side of life. The top ten things that I won’t miss about being pregnant:...Continue reading at The Mommyhood ProjectSee More

38 weeks pregnant means a weekend full of nesting

I literally nested all weekend. Which means that my house looks and smells amazing, but I still don’t have a baby yet! Well, unless you count Lucy as a big baby. Let’s just say that she’s been a little needy. To the point that she thinks she’s a full-on lap dog. Ever had a dog her size try to curl up in your lap? Ok, ok – she doesn’t try to curl up in my lap since I really don’t have one right now. She does, however, try to curl up in Ricky’s lap and it’s completely hilarious. Slash I totally…See More

A 37 weeks pregnant weekend. Complete with baby Uggs.

This weekend went by in a whirlwind. So fast that it didn’t even really feel like the weekend. Mama went into overdrive preparing the house for the bean. Although I still have to clean our kitchen and dining room floors (which, as of this morning, the hubs informed me he would clean tonight – I LOVE HIM!). Anyway…here’s what this preggo mama did this weekend:1. I made my first ham. Seriously. I cooked a whole damn ham. Ok – it was pre-cooked and I baked it. But it was (slash is?) delicious. And…See More

37 weeks pregnant and possibly losing my mind

Besides going into early labor, I actually did do some interesting things this Labor Day weekend, did you? Share yours in the comments! I’ll share mine here…1. Lucy (my big lazy dog) LOVES ice. And this weekend she figured out how to get her own ice out of our fridge. Awesome. It’s absolutely one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen – or at least, you would think that it is considering how hard I laugh every time she does it. Although I think we’re going to have to get her to “forget” her new…See More

The most amazing molasses cookies you will ever eat. Seriously.

Remember those amazing molasses cookies I was raving about last week? Well, silly me forgot to post the recipe! Here it is in all it’s glory – and just so that you know, this IS a huge batch on it’s own. Feel free to half it if you’re worried about consuming all these cookies in one sitting (or in 48 hours, like my hubby did…)

What you’ll need:...Continue reading at …

Another weekend without a baby appearance...

Well…that whole 35 percent chance of having the baby by Monday night isn’t looking so promising anymore! The kid is still cooking – and KICKING – in my belly. Which I really don’t think could possiblyget any bigger than it is right now!

But since the babe didn’t make his big appearance this weekend, I definitely got to check out the season finale of the Real Housewives of New Jersey – did you? It was pretty fantabulous – although slightly sad to see everyone’s…
