Comment by C. K. Matthews on February 11, 2011 at 10:47pm: Hi, my name is Christina. I have been a single mom for the majority of the past 11 years with the exception of one year I spent with my daughter's dad. That was about 3 years ago and I don't plan on getting involved with anyone again.

I have created community for single parents at thebusysingleparent.com and while it is still new and I'm constantly making changes and improvements I hope you all will join me there as well as here. There is strength in numbers and single parents need to stick together.

Also trying to organize a twitter party Sunday at 7pm CST using hashtag #spvd and no that doesn't stand for single parent's venereal disease. It stands for single parents valentine's day. I hope to discus survival techniques for Valentine's day. Hope you all will join me. This will be the first time I've tried anything like this
