Help me sort out the nature/flower/eco flickr groups! Which do you recommend? There's so many my head spins.

Here are example photos I want to contribute. Thanks for your help!

Wow, those are lovely. Are you wanting to just upload to Flicker or for community use?
Hi Dee! I want to add pics to some Flickr enviro groups and not sure which are good (ie active, helpful, friendly, get visits).

Most of my photography will be landscape/nature in subject. Such as floral, beach, close ups, but also some unusual stuff. There seems to be a group for every little thing! And the general subject groups are HUGE, does anyone ever see your stuff in those??

Thx for the help.
Well I am in a few paint shop pro groups over on Flickr and they are fairly active one that I belong to has user contributed nature shots in it quite a bit.

Corel Paint Shop Pro
Paint Shop Pro Creations
Arcanum Cafe

You can also do a Flickr search too in order to find environment or nature shots groups to belong to. You want ones that are active where there are always new images added to the group photo pool and also there is some active discussions going on.

And yes people do look at your work over there my stats are very active.

One thing that I would suggest if you don't already have it is to get a pro membership over there. I get mine free as an ATT/Yahoo internet and phone customer. However, the pro membership is only about between 24 and 30 a mo. With a pro account you get unlimited photo storage. A standard membership only allows you 200 image storage capacity. Then your having to pick and choose all the time as to what you want to stay in your photo stream which for the digital artist or photographer can be very aggravating.

I hope some of this helps you in making some choices. I also hope this info helps others who come across this discussion thread.
