Hi Samantha, on our Intentional Conscious Parenting blog you'll find interviews with authors who have had success and I also have an interview with Nancy Cleary owner of Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing. She provides tips for building a writer's platform.

I am also a social media manager that enjoys working with authors.

Hello all!  I am a self published author :D  I am writing a children book series: Andy the Spider.  Three books are already out and I am beginning my fourth one this week!  I invented this character when I was 8 years old (i'm 29 now) and started writing again a few years ago!   Here is my blog I just started: http://andythespider.blogspot.com/  or my actual website http://www.andythespider.com   Has anyone had any success with self publishing?

I have a new post on my blog, 'Partners In Crime...I mean Words'.  I would love for writers to take part in it.   All you have to do is reply with one line.  It doesn't matter how many words nor the subject matter.  I'd love to get some writers to participate.  The post link: blog.writerslairbooks.com . Thanks!

Carol-

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner!

I read/review almost anything. There's very few things I don't like to review. They are:

Poetry

Nonfiction

Romance- most

My favorite genres include YA, sci fi, fantasy, contemporary fiction, historical fiction, and horror. I will read some lighter romance, but the truly smutty "beach reads" aren't my cup of tea.

What's your genre?

An excerpt from this book is up on my blog http://www.codyyoungblog.blogspot.com/

I'd love some feedback from this group!
