Mom Cooks Gluten Free

Gluten (found in wheat, rye, barley and oats) has been linked to conditions such as celiac, autism, ADHD, rheumatoid arthritis, infertility, depression etc.! I have written children's books on healthy eating and am working on a gluten free menu book!

I may be behind the curve on some of the food companies, but saw the following note and wanted to share it: "

Dietz & Watson Premium Deli Meats & Artisan Cheeses and Supervalu’s ACME Markets announced they would debut the first-ever dedicated Dietz &Watson gluten-free deli in the Philadelphia suburb of Paoli this week.

Dietz &Watson offers more than 400 gluten-free choices, and more than 20 of them will be available at this dedicated deli case starting Wednesday."

I checked their website and looks like Dietz & Watson have some really good stuff.

Thanks Heather, I haven't seen or tried Katz, so I'll look for them. I agree that Bob's Red Mill mix is good. I've made bread several times with it and like it, but it would be nice to have some rolls that I can pick up at the store that are good too, so hope that I find them.

@ Kathi - I like Katz Gluten free  rolls  http://www.katzglutenfree.com/Gluten_Free_Breads_s/1.htm

or if you want to make your own, I like Bob's Red Mill GF bread mix for rolls...

Hi Ladies, I'm planning my first gluten free Easter diner.  I'd like to include dinner rolls, but so far I haven't found any I like.  I enjoy the "Udi's" and "Rudi's" brands of bread, but I haven't found any rolls that they make.  Do any of you have suggestions, or will I need to bake my own?  Thanks Kathi
