I joined Twitter moms because I'm looking for moms and businesses to help promote FREE of charge on one or all of my site(s) (depends on which site(s) works best for the individual or business). Only one requirement: a sample or copy of product. Interested? Contact admin@booksalatte.com

Hello! I'm a freelance editor, primarily working with a corporate client, and I edit Mom's Favorite Stuff and The Mindful Moms.

Hi everyone! I recognize some faces and names here. I've been freelancing since 2003, mostly for magazines though I'd love to expand into more online/paid blogging work as well. I've also written two books, my most recent Table for Eight: Raising a large family in a small-family world, which was published by Alpha in 2007. I think somebody below asked how to get started and mentioned Elance--I have never had much luck with sites like those as often the clients seem to be looking for the lowest bidder, not the best person for the job. I'll post some helpful links in a new thread.

Hello everyone, I'm glad to see you all here. I have a question before I forget, what is a virtual assistant business - that was for Cindi by the way.

I author seven blogs now, I have one blog that I only use to publish content that I hope to one day put into a book, it has 2 posts on it and I am about to launch a new blog with some help from some really great women out there....I'll keep you posted on that. In the meantime, here's my best blogs, I won't list them all...

Mom~E~Centric
TV Boyfriends
Mom is Teaching
Marital Talk
Emotional and Mental Health

The book blog is
The Reason for the Madness

The others are strictly for reviews and ad revenue and the newest one will be for the locals in my area who have issues with school. It doesn't have a name, it has a frame and a dream, but no name yet......hopefully by weeks end I will have it up and running....any domain name suggestions?????

The premise of this new blog can be found on my personal blog Mom~E~Centric and Mom is Teaching. If you just read a few articles, you will get a feel of where I'm going with the new blog for locals.

Hello, all! I'm new to Twitter Moms, and am so glad to find a support site that blends so many areas of the life. The Freelance Writing Mamas group is the cherry on top.

Hi everyone! I'm in a few of these kinds of groups, but am hoping this one will be more active. I've been a freelance journalist since I left my regular job at the end of my first pregnancy... a new career was born at the same time as my son! I've got 6 years of mostly magazine work, some speechwriting, and one book under my belt. The book is new - just out in June - Stress-Free Potty Training, so if you're in that mindset, please check it out! Hoping to do more books, but so far am still in the magazine business.

Hi everyone. I've been freelancing on a very flexible basis (ie - 1 or 2 published articles per year) for the past few years. It's a goal/dream of mine to make it a career, but I've never been able to work up the courage to take the leap. Great to find this group!

Hi. I used to be a regional mag editor...am hoping to make my way back into freelancing from home when my child starts school. My blog is my big project right now--gives me creative freedom but keeps me connected with the world. See it at http://www.redwhiteandgrewblog.com.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to start freelance writing. I've done some research and looked at Elance and a few other sites, but I am not sure exactly how to go about it.
Any help will be much appreciated!

I am currently procrastinating my freelance project. I need to get my booty in gear or I'll miss my deadline. HATE DEADLINES.
In the meantime, I am blogging about being a writer. Today's post--I Am the Next Stephenie Meyer--makes me feel better as I discover that I don't really need to be a terrific writer to be HER ;) LOL.
