I chose the business i  an in due to the health benefits people are getting .

diabetics  getting off their meds. people with high cholestrol and high blood pressure getting off thier meds .

 people having trouble shedding unwanted weight .

not to mention the breast check kits and breast cream.

I chose the company based on their sound business model and reputation.  I was won over by the quality of the products that are used everyday in the home that met my standards for health and well-being.  I was sold by the team support and community around creating a business. The low start-up cost was a strong selling point as well.

 

Each of those things were important to me and contributed to my choice to begin a business with the company.

I chose my company because it complimented what I was already doing, empowering women. It gave me an additional means to help improve the lives of women while pursuing my passion and earn an additional stream of income from home. The company's mission are aligned with mine and I earn a great residual commission and bonuses. The cost to get started was reasonable and I could upgrade at anytime (which I did within my first week!)

I think when choosing a home business, you must first be passionate about what you will be offering because for most, it takes time to see a profit or make back your initial investment so you have to be committed to being consistent. You should also understand you commission structure, have access to on-going training and support.

It sounds like you are all passionate about the business you chose and based your decision on a combination of logic and passion. It sounds like you all chose a business that allows you to help others in some way which is interesting because I think that is a strong pull for women.

I chose the business I'm in because it enables me to bless others with a way to earn income working from home without having to pay to start a business I am a e-commerce shoping mall broker and it allows me to give a way free shoping malls. I chose the business I am in because of it's history and integrity. I am with the Fuller Brush Company and they were started in 1906.... Wow, that's longevity. They also have an excellent reputation for all of those years. I chose my business after having just withdrawn from another company after moving to California.  I needed something to do to earn some extra money, but due to my own health issues I was limited as to what I could do.  I came across this opportunity in an article in woman's day.  Having been a social worker in a my former career I loved the idea of helping others publish books to preserve their family heritage.  I also loved the option of being able to work online, since I seem to be online most of the time anyway

In terms of the company, it is only 5 years old so this is still a ground floor opportunity.  there are only 400 consultants actively working and growing their business so there is lots of room for growth and developing a profitable business.  The company is very supportive, offering lots of incentives for growing your business and the other consultants, directors I have met have been very supportive in sharing their ideas and materials.  I have been overwhelmed by the positive responses I have received when requesting information.  It has been an awesome experience.

Hi chose the company I am with because it is an amazing concept and very easy to duplicate.... It's all about Use, Love, and Share. If you use a product and love it you will easily share your delight with others. We sell all natural skin care. Every women uses skin care products so it's an in demand thing... just that our product is better. There is nothing else like this on the market.

 

The startup cost played a role as well BUT it's not the only thing to consider. Some have a $10 or $20 startup cost but you have to buy brochures etc every other week. With Apriori Beauty you pay $79 to get started but thats it. The free shop/website is better than anything I have seen before. And again, it's FREE. You can choose to buy samples or just use your own products as samples. You can buy brochures but don't have to... if you buy brochures you are lucky because it's the same one. You don't have to get a new brochure every two weeks and figure out where they put all the products this time around.

New to the group!  I am a consultant with Scentsy.  I chose Scentsy because I used to make candles before having children, but it got to the point where making and burning candles wasn't safe in our house.  Scentsy is completely safe...no flame, the wax isn't hot, it's even food safe!  It's a perfect fit for my family.

I chose Scentsy because I fell in love with the product and wanted to buy it for myself. The $99 didn't seem to much since I didn't have to purchase anything after that. So I signed up and took a warmer to my classroom and low and behold..everyone who walked down the hall ordered something. That was 3 years ago. I have since worked my way up and have not even tried. I never would have dreamed I could sell anything..but with the right product, you don't have to try:)
