The purpose of this group is to bring awareness and motivation to moms to stay away from fast food, processed food and genetically modified food. Instead, lets share fun, creative ideas of good, homemade (& organic!) meals to cook for our children.

Thank you for joining Cooking for Our Kids!
As mentioned above, I started this group to be able to collaborate with other moms, motivate each other and provide recipe ideas to cook from home for our kids.We can also share and join causes when it comes to food and share important news about the food industry.
The food we feed ourselves and our children today is unfortunately not good! It is genetically modified, high in corn fructose syrup, fattening and just filled with chemicals.
I know some of us work full time, some of us may work part time and others stay home with our kids, but either way it can get hard to come up with meals or mostly the time to cook good home meals for our kids! We are busy with our schedules and will lean towards feeding them the easiest and fastest thing available.
But if we want our children to grow up healthy and avoid the many sicknesses today like diabetes, cancer, alzheimers etc. we need to make it a priority to feed them good food.
Please feel free to follow and join the discussion as well as start your own! Don't forget to introduce yourself and your kids and share those recipes so we can get to cookin' good food for our kids!
In the near future I will be having Tweet Chats from professionals like natural nutrition coaches etc to make us aware of the damages of some of the food we feed our kids. The first topic will be High Fructose Corn Syrup and it's damages. Stay tuned for the date of this tweet event!
