I define natural birth as the process of having a child vaginally without the use of drugs. Natural birth also typically involves the child's father more than what's considered "normal," limits the number of pre-natal tests taken prior to the baby's arrival, and gives the mother more control over the birthing experience whether it is occuring at home, in a birthing center, or in a hospital. My husband delivered his son & introduced me to natural birth in this way. Then, he delivered our daughter using natural birthing techniques. We're currently awaiting the natural birth of our next child together. I'm a strong advocate for natural birth and offer online classes (along with a variety of other services) via my website www.MamaKelli.com.

Hi Ruthie, thank you for your comment.

It's great that the bible helped you in this way. I found that hearing other peoples stories of gentle childbirth helped me, plus watching some amazing footage of wonderful births and practicing listening to my body. As I'm not religious, these were the things which really helped me have a wonderful birth experience.

All I can say to this is...The bible promise those who live for him to be saved in childbirth...my childbirth with my son was very easy.
