We recently launched a community-powered feature to help moms find a little inspiration for non-commercial blogging/writing topics. To get us off on the right foot, and give us your ideas for prompts you'd like to write about or see others write about.
For example:
If you could have dinner with one fictional character, who would it be and why?
Keep it fun, open-ended, non-commercial, and on a topic you would think would be of interest to your blog and your peers' blogs.
We are working on some topic ideas of our own, and would also love to feature some prompts from members of our community. Share your ideas below, and if we feature a blog prompt from you, you'll get credit for it, and we'll give you and your blog recognition in the weekly newsletter.
All we ask is if you write on these topics, please include a link back to this page [http://www.socialmoms.com/forum/topic/listForTag?tag=writing+prompt] and let readers know where you found your inspiration.
You can get our daily prompts by subscribing to this RSS feed in your favorite reader: feed://www.socialmoms.com/forum/topic/listForTag?tag=writing+prompt...
We hope this helps you keep your blogs fresh and lively and helps increase your traffic!

Thanks for the advice! From a mom who is finally going to make the time to blog : ) ...
Actually, theSassyLadies just interviewed me about this topic Jen. They were interested in the challenges of mommy blogging and one of the things I talked about was when I first started out and NOBODY was reading the blog. Talked about different strategies I used to change that. Feel free to take a listen. I"ll be posting the transcript as well soon on my blog! It was posted on blogtalkradio so this is a safe and genuine link.
or you can search for it on www.blogtalkradio.com under TheSassyLadies.com
I do NOT work for theSassyLadies and am not affiliated with them. This was a genuine interview and it isn't plugging any product or service.

My daughters are constantly doing the cutest things, so I figured I would document it all.
