The game was amazing! A little too close for comfort but my Steelers did it! Way to go!!! I think back to the game last night and the CareerBuilder commercial sticks out in my head so I guess it was the commercials. Oh and drooling over Steelers coach Tomlin...I think he's a total hottie ;-)
The nail-biter finish! and the Doritos commercials.
Last nights Super Bowl turned out to be a “Yester Year” event. I was fortunate to reconnect with 5 of my New York friends that I have known since nursery school. Ironically we all have relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and there are thirty more who could not make it.

I love the camaraderie. Interesting enough, I love to watch the game. Most men are surprised I can understand the plays, call the penalties and predict the outcome. Proclaiming I was a devoted “Daddy’s Girl” makes it easier to digest.

The commercials are always a treat. This year’s ads were a little flat, but had a few gems to remember. It was also nice to see Jennifer Hudson sing despite her indescribable grief. Hat’s off to Jennifer!

The Boss is the Boss…….enough said.

Go Steelers and Coach Tomlin's “First Super bowl” win was a great testament to Tony Dungy’s legacy of humility and class.
My favorite thing about Super Bowl Sunday was getting a chance to relax, while everyone else watched the game. It was NICE!

The eTrade baby commercials. Our family thinks they are funny!
I wasn't planning on watching it but my 9 year old was keen and what a game it turned out to be. I watched it while Twittering (@juliewright) and seeing people's real-time feedback on the ads via #superads09 was even more fun. My fave commercial was Cheetos with the pigeons... I like mischief.
We spent Saturday with the whole extended family, so for me the fun part about Sunday was that we could just hang out as our little tribe. We had family members rooting for both sides, but what we wanted most was a terrific game! Boy, did we get it!

My son and I were rooting for the Steelers, so we were hooting and hollering when they won.

What a fun night!

FINALLY a game that was better than the commercials! It's been years...
We normally have our friends over for super bowl, but this year we opted to let our daughter have her friends over for a super bowl party! It really was a lot of fun. They all baked sugar cookies from scratch, pulled out ALL of the sprinkles and cookie cutters and just had a blast. My hubby and I made chicken wings and all kinds of snacks for them. We really had so much fun watching the game with all of them and it was just too cute to see them all so excited and really into the whole thing. I am still cleaning up the aftermath, but it was so worth it, lol.
I just loved seeing my husband's FAVORITE team win the Super Bowl! What a game!!!
GO STEELERS!!!
good food and good friends :)
That football season is over and my husband will get off the couch on Sundays now:)
