My proudest day. My son was about 7 and we were visiting my father who I hadn't seen in 20 years. It became quite aparent that he was quite racist. After a few days I took my son aside and told him that the way that his grandpa talked about people that didn't look like us was wrong and we shouldn't think like that. To which he replied "I know, grandpa is just ignorant." I thought wow. Then asked him if he knew what ignorant meant. He said "ya; he just doesn't know any better." Ahh I was so proud.

I have so many, but this is one of the most recent ones. My son learn how to spell his name. He spells it to me everyday and that just makes mommy and daddy so very proud. Or when my kids give me lots of kisses and hugs. I love being a mom.

Teaching my son to ride his bike without training wheels. He was only 3 at the time, and he learned in less than 2 hours. That will always be one of my best mom moments!
