Do you know that feeling when you are celebrating your favorite team winning
a closely contested football game or your daughter completing a very difficult
piano solo for her recital - flawlessly? You can't wipe the smile off your face;
you are cheering, clapping and have a feeling of elation. Did you know that
you can create that feeling in the warmth and comfort of your very own home.

I want to offer a wild and fun thought. Each night between Christmas and
New Year's day choose one movie and enjoy popcorn,
cut up fruit or tea and be inspired.

After the movie, write down your thoughts about your business, your life,
your goals and your vision for your life and how you can make it happen.

Getting the adrenaline pumping and feeling the tension
released from the movie will truly free up your creativity.

If you are a movie lover and want to try this for just one week, I would love to hear your
reactions and results.

Ready?

I agree that "Facing the Giants" and "The Karate Kid" (LOL--especially the original one!) are inspirational.

Another movie that has always inspired me--especially this time of year is "It's A Wonderful Life".
Awwww I heart movies...I try to find some way to relate to almost every one I watch. I think this is such a neat idea! Im doing it!! :) Thank YOU for the inspiration!

Lately..most inspirational...

Hitch
Marley & Me (painfully sad but such a good story!)
PS I Love You (being happy is a choice, misery is optional)
Radio
Dreamer (I'll second that)
Remember the Titans (that one too)
I love Facing The Giants and Meet The Robinsons. Another movie I like is The Ultimate Gift. Inspirational movies are the best! : )
I'm a Jerry Maguire fan. It inspires me. I think it's a perfect movie. This time of year, I also actually love "Love Actually." A great movie.

I think the list above is terrific. I must go back and watch The Karate Kid with my kids. We've seen most of the films on this list, but not all... Will add those we've missed to the Netflix rotation!
This is great to read everyones inspirational movies... I agree with the list you provided (for the ones I have seen) here are my movies I watch that I love and I feel inspired after watching it

Devil Wears Prada (fight for what you want, and never let anyone tell you, or make you believe you can't achieve your dream)
Sweet Home Alabama (that your heart can never deny true love....and that you can't run away)
The Rookie
Catch and Release (life can go on, and your heart can still love after you lose a loved one)

plus many more....

I like movies that can make me cry, laugh, be happy or sad... when I watch a movie I get right into it, my fiancé laughs at me, cause I zone out...any movie based on a true story always is inspirational, just to know that some of those events actually happened..

for me inspirational movies are ones that yes make me feel like i can do anything, or if i have been similar situations, that I can overcome anything as well...

Happy Movie watching ladies!
*John Q
*Akeelah and the Bee
*Love Actually
*How to loose a guy in 10 Days (I took notes, it works if you want to rid yourself of stalkers)
*Lately... The new movie 'Marley and Me' has a great message of hope... It could make the list.

Romantic comedies do it for me. I view my life in a happy loving way after I watch em' I strive to achieve that loving balance.
My 16 year old daughter and I just saw Seven Pounds with Will Smith last night. One of the best movies I've seen in months. Really leaves you contemplating your own life and if you are making a difference. Bring your tissues ladies.
Me too...Facing the Giants...is a awesome awesome movie!

Ruthie
Diary of a Mad Black Woman
The Color Purple
Imitation of Life
Working Girl with Melanie Griffith. She came from less than ideal circumstances but she had a dream and she wouldn't let go and she got it! Also love Strictly Ballroom, the ugly duckling becomes a beautiful swan.
This is timely, I am just updating my Netflix queue!
Maybe I missed it, but has no one mentioned "The Pursuit of Happyness?". Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. Always gives me that "quit your whining" shot in the arm I sometimes need (or my kids need)..and the fact that it's based on a true story makes it that much more powerful.
