One is so hard to choose - "Pride and Prejudice".

If I can cheat and add more then "The Beautiful and Damned". But for a great read and some thought provocation too - the "Millennium Trilogy".

I should say my own book too, because it reminds me of my mother to whom it is dedicated and because it makes my laugh - "Spring to Mind".
Mine too! Favorite book in the Bible is James. Love his "Tell it like it is" style.

My favorite book of all times is the Bible. It gives me everything I need. Since purchasing a kiddie Bible for my young son, I have a new appreciation for the stories, too.

Savor life's best,
Aimee
If I have to go by the one I've read the most I'd have to say the Red Tent by Anita Diamante.
Its a toss up between the DaVinci Code and The Kite Runner.
I have to agree Lucy. It took me reading The DaVinci Code twice before I really appreciated it and as for The Kite Runner...the most detailed writing I have read in years. Have you read his second book? I cannot wait until he publishes another one. Also, he is also pretty on the eyes. LOL
Every woman and I mean all the she girls and ladies must read this. It has motivated me and broke down all my inferiority complexes ok ready It is Beauty fades, dumb is forever by Judge Judy.
All the best

Oh wow. This goes back a ways. In elementary school, I use to check out a book called "Bonnie" with a yellow hardback cover. It was about a girl who moves to a new school and shortly becomes a cheerleader and a singer in a band. I would read it over and over. When my sister started elementary school, I had her check it out for me when I was in high school. When my son went to elementary school, I had him look for it. Then later, when I was about 40, I found it on the internet and bought a copy. It is set in the 50's, but is such a sweet innocent story. I still love it!
I have already responded to this but after seeing how a lot of women are going back to their childhood days so I will then say the best book series of my childhood would be "The Trixie Beldon" series and I do have to mention "The Nancy Drew Series" as I have most of the first editions that my mom found.
EM Forster's A Room With A View without a doubt! The book is adapted beautifully by James Ivory in 1985. It is the perfect love story for the romantic in me.
I love Erma Bombeck!!! My mom read her all while I was growing up and now that I'm all grown up-I know why. She looks at the everyday events around us, and turns them into heartfelt extraordinary memories with laughter!

My favorite book of all time is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. It makes me cry every time. It's just so heart warming and Morrie is so full of wisdom. Hope I get to meet someone like him :)
