I think being able to be home and watch my children develop has been the highlight of my Summer. My son got his first legos and his imaginative play is really taking off. My daughter's verbal skills took off and she is interacting more with her big brother. We played, gardened and got grubby. It was great!

the highlight of my summer was my youngest son going off to college!
I was so proud of him but I miss him already! I have never lived in a home without
children and it seems so quiet around here! We need grandchildren to visit and make
lots of welcome noise!

I think being able to take my kids to Myrtle Beach this summer for an extended stay and we planned and budgeted so I didn't have to worry about expense and my kids enjoyed carefree days at the beach from dawn to dusk and other staycations ideas we experimented with made it one of our best summers yet.

Getting to attend a good friend's wedding!

Finally a summer when I am not nursing or dealing with a new born. So we packed our bag and had a smal trip to San Diego, it was wonderful. Did Legoland and Sea World stayed at a Hotel and the kids loved the experience.

I worked for a month at a camp for a non profit company and learned so many things about what is really important in life!!

My husband and 4 of our children ages 1-13 spent a week in the mountains. No phones, no internet, no tv. It was bliss.

Going to area music festivals - Rock Fest, Country Fest, etc! Got to spend lots of time outside in great weather listening to great music!
