I learned that every day is unpredictable, may that is why I prefer it more than the 9-5 grind!

That some decisions or parenting decisions seem easy when you're on the outside looking in, but that when you get into similar situations with your own child, things often seem a lot less clear cut.

Since I have become a parent I have learned that one cannot possess too much patience and that many of the lessons I wish to teach my children will not be understood until they are well into their adulthood with children of their own.

Control is overrated. I used to try and plan everything, but with a newborn you just can't. I've learned that life is a lot less stressful when I just go with the flow and don't try to control everything.
