I am thankful for the ability to be a traditional/non-traditional mommy whenever I see fit! Some days I like cooking, cleaning, and caring for the kiddies...however, on some days I like going to work or operating my home business & contributing to the family financially...40 years ago that would not have been an option!
I'm first of all thankful to know a very loving and accepting GOD.
I'm thankful for my son Luke. Even though his dad chooses not to be around, I'm thankful to have the opportunity to show Luke everyday that he is loved beyond measure.
I'm thankful for my daughter, Sierra. I'm also thankful for her adoptive parents, Jeff & Tammy. They have been so kind to let us come out and visit them. I am a blessed birth parent.
I'm thankful for life, health, and strength to get through each day.
I'm thankful for close and accepting friends. I'm thankful for extended family.
I'm thankful that the lady who received my kidney in August is healthy and well. I'm thankful for the extremely talented surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurses, social workers, etc., who treated me with great kindness as I did my good deed.
I'm thankful for so much that I need to stop writing. Amen.
I am most thankful for my children. I wasn't as wild in my youth as many others were but I was on a pretty lost path and having my children taught me what I needed to know to become an adult, to be a great mother and wife. I am grateful to have them in my life every day that I live and breathe.
