hmmm...i really don't think I have ever done anything impulsive since being a mother....well in my whole life really. For example...I have needed new sheets for my bed for months. I only have one pair I have to wash and dry and have back on the bed in one day. They are so old they are randomly ripping apart here and there because the threads are so worn. I have looked at sheets on sale in ads for months. Finally I decided I would buy some with Overstock.com gift cards I won. Took me 2 weeks of looking everyday to buy a set. Yep 2 weeks to buy sheets. Yes, my life is pretty impulse free!!
The most spontaneous thing ive done when i became a mother was getting a tattoo on my neck!! I put my daughters name on it.
That was so crazy,,lol,,i was only 16yrs old.Yes i do regret it putting it on my neck.I keep it hid.It was one of those teenage spontaneous things!!!
Very cool! What kind of tat did you get?

I have several impulsive things, but I always seem to do the most impulsive stuff just after having a baby. I attribute it to the crazy hormones. After my first child, I dyed my hair auburn red from blond and got a tattoo on the base of my neck. After my second child, I got my nose pierced! Decided against dying my hair again, cause everyone keeps telling me I look best as a blond.
The most impulsive thing I've done is buy a travel trailer. It can be hard to keep the fun in our life, but we try as a family to do activities together and watch movies or play games at least once a week together.
Spontaneous? I wasn't even spontaneous BEFORE kids LOL. Probably agreeing to take on any of the crazy volunteer roles I've done over the last few years like running VBS or now bring Pres of my MOMS Club chapter... I should actually get some advice here, because spontaneity is pretty rare around here! We did have family game night last night which was fun, and a last minute decision to go on a hike last weekend. I guess I just need to remind myself that there IS time for certain things.
I became a stay-at-home mom, and that was very spontaneous for me. I use to say that I would never become one of those, but I just couldn't go back to work after having my son. Recently, I have returned to work, but only because my son is a lot older. We really like having fun.
We moved across country with an almost 4 yr old and almost 2 year old. We sold our house in California and moved to the midwest. Best decision we ever made! Now 5 years and 3 kids later, we are moving again though this time now so far. Hubby and 3 year old live/work in another state during the week. Older 2 kids and I live/work here for a few more months. Very hard to be away from my baby for a week at a time but I know it is temporary and my husband is much happier, more successful and has more opportunities at new job. I'm going back to school as soon as we all get moved as well...just to keep things exciting!
The most impulsive thing I've done? Well, I had a weekend trip to Cedar Point planned with my Bebe Boy James .. we planned it for weeks .. THEN I found out that it was going to be raining ... the whole ... entire ... weekend. SO .. (and this might sound like a bad mommy thing, but it was worth it) ... I took him out of school for a day and we played 'hookie' together. It was so much fun! It made me remember when my own mom pulled US out of school (all four of us!) in the middle of the day to bring us to the city to see the circus!
