My  rule I never will break as a Parent is to never curse at my children.I may yell sometimes but I will NEVER break my rule to say a bad-word out of my mouth at them. It's just unaceptable to me to talk to my children or yell with those type of words. My Mother use to curse at me as a child so I know how awful it feels.

Thanks for the post, this was fun!

absolutely no question about it...everyone must be buckled up in their carseat, or if they are too big for a carseat, buckled properly in their seat.
never treat my children in a way that I would feel was unfair if I were a child/when I was a child.  ANd always explain why the rules are rules.
Consistency. Being consistent in everything you do as a parent!!
Tough one.... it's a tie between never putting material possessions before my kids and never giving my kids any reason to believe that I wouldn't be there for them. My mother was a perfect example of what not to do.
I will never favor one child over the other - love them equally.
That there is no right or wrong way to parent. Each situation is different and you have to learn to go with the flow.
NEVER PLAY FAVORITES
One rule I never break is promising something that I know isn't attainable or going to happen.  Why set your self up for disappointing your kids?

Never break there trust in you..

I never compare my childs growth and development to other children she does everything at her own pace regardless of what all the websites say. She started crawling at 11 months and 2 weeks later she was walking!! Up until she was 15 months old she said no words now at 17 months she sings all her favorite nick jr songs and repeats every single word she hears. Every childs develops at their own pace.
I would have to say I never take sides in their fights, treat each child equally.  Also, always end the day with a hug and I love you.
