We are getting to know my husband's brother and his wife and kids after a long time of distance. I'm really glad that we're reconnecting and building bridges. It's amazing what kids can bring to a family!

We'll have to use technology to reconnect with all of our extended family this year. It's not quite the same as being in person, but I'm thankful that we can Skype with parents, grandparents and siblings.

I'd like to try and reconnect with my older sister--We don't talk because we're not really that close, but I would hate for us to drift even farther apart. I'd also like to reconnect with my best friend from college. We're both so busy it's hard to make time for each other!
