Permalink Reply by Shelly Oakley on December 13, 2011 at 4:52am We will be going to my mother's and stepfather's on Christmas Eve to have a wonderful meal and share gifts. Christmas morning, we will be at home spending time with our immediate family since our two boys have to go to their biological father's at 1 pm until the day before school resumes in January. We always love waking up really early (thanks to me! lol I'm worse than the kids!), open stockings, have breakfast and then we start to open gifts smallest to largest. :)
Permalink Reply by Crystal L Allen on December 13, 2011 at 6:35am we will spend Christmas Eve at my mom's house. Christmas day my mom will come to our house to watch the kids open their gifts and then we will go to my Dad's house for lunch.
Merry Christmas everyone !
Permalink Reply by Traci Reynolds on December 13, 2011 at 8:05am I am torn this year on christmas...trying to get into the spirit of things....but its tough...I have 6 children and my oldest will not be with us this year as we travel to my parents home in MI for the first time in 7 years...I am having a difficult time with this but she is in college and has a full time job...she is very responsible and I am proud of her accomplishments at the same time I am praying for all of us I know it will be hard on my other 5 children to be without her and for her to not be with us as well....I know they need to grow up just wasn't prepared for it to come so soon...
Permalink Reply by BrooklynShoeBabe on December 13, 2011 at 8:32am My husband and daughters will be celebrating Christmas at my brother and his wife's house, which has become a new tradition. The girls are looking forward to "Uncle Rah-Rah's Kicking Fried Chicken."
We'll be spending quality time with family! I'm so excited my boys will be home from college and the whole family & extended family will be together. We'll play games, watch movies and bake our favorite cookies. It will be truly a time to remember :-)

Permalink Reply by Cate O'Malley on December 13, 2011 at 1:36pm Christmas Eve is one of the holidays that I host, and we celebrate with the Feast of Seven Fishes (for the Italian side of my family) and 13 desserts (for the French side). Needless to say, no one goes hungry that night! The kids open up one present (snuggly pjs) and we watch Chevy Chase's National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Look forward to Christmas Eve all year!
