Tell us about your child's individual sense of style for a $50 jcpenney gift card!

THANK YOU EVERYONE! We have reached our quota of 80 posts. We are reviewing current submissions to make sure they are qualified. You will be notified via email if you were one of the qualifying participants. Thanks for participating! Even if you are not in the first 80 submissions, you are welcome to continue submitting your posts, and we will share all of them with the team at jcpenney.

This back-to-school season, jcpenney celebrates the idea that daydreams can become reality, and are empowering kids to express their individual style.  jcpenney makes it affordable, you make it yours. Think back to before you were a grown-up... before you forgot what it was like to dream big. What was it like when you were developing your own personality and sense of style? That’s the magic of being a kid and the start of each new school year for our children is full of new possibilities. That’s the kind of fresh individuality in all our kids and it’s worth celebrating. Our children’s sense of style is fueled by imagination—where the options for self-expression are limitless.

In honor of the new jcpenney Back-to-School season, we are introducing a fun blogging program! Celebrate the idea that daydreams can become reality! Embrace your children’s individuality and uniqueness. Share an original blog post with us about your child’s individual sense of style! Does your daughter like to take store-bought clothing items and add her creative touch to make them original? Are your kids into accessories, or are they more practical? Is your daughter’s style totally tomboyish? Does your son love to dress up like a football player? We can’t wait to read all about your child’s individual sense of style.

We're looking for quality over speed, so please read on.

How it works:
We are looking for 80 creative, original and authentic blog submissions of high quality. Create an original post on your blog, in 400 words or more (using your own words), telling us about your child’s individual sense of style. Include a thoughtful introduction, original content within the body of your post, and a conclusion. Check your spelling and grammar. You must also include the disclosure statement that is below in your post and install the campaign widget in the sidebar of your blog. Then follow the rest of the requirements below. We will review every post and select the first eighty qualifying submissions to receive a $50 jcpenney gift card!

Highlights from your posts, tweets and tips will be collected and featured on http://jcpenney.socialmoms.com, and distributed across the web for all to see. The blogging program starts on July 27, 2011 and the submission window closes at 11:59pm PST on August 26, 2011. We will contact the qualifying bloggers on or about September 2, 2011. Full terms and conditions are posted for your review at http://jcpenney.socialmoms.com/terms.

Rewards for Participating:
The first eighty qualifying participants will receive a $50 jcpenney gift card! See Terms and Conditions.
