THANK YOU EVERYONE! We have reached our quota of 50 posts, but would like to encourage you to keep sharing your "Family dinner table etiquette 'Dos and Don'ts' and advice" with us, and we will continue to post excerpts from your wonderful blog submissions on the Kraft Homestyle Macaroni and Cheese hub page. Thank you for participating!
With everyone's schedules so busy and full of activities, appointments and obligations, it's not necessarily a nightly ritual to sit down for a family dinner anymore. Eating on the run means less focus on traditional dining etiquette and manners. Cell phone at the table? Eating before everyone's served? What are dining taboos at your table?
SocialMoms and Kraft Homestyle Macaroni and Cheese have teamed up to bring you a new blogging program that asks you to look at dinner time tradition and etiquette, and share the Dos and Don'ts of dinner table etiquette. We want to hear about how you teach your children to be polite and to watch their manners at dinner time. We know how important dinner time is in order to stay close with one's family. So, we want to know how you teach your family the Dos and Don'ts of dinner table etiquette. Share what you see that's right and wrong at your own dinner table and give tips for your readers on how to improve family dining etiquette. Give your readers your advice for sitting down at a nice family dinner without all the modern day distractions such as texting, video games and TV. How do you teach your kids to set the table properly? When did you teach your children the correct way to use a knife and fork? Which direction do you pass the mac n' cheese? What are some good dinnertime conversation starters for the family? We’d love to hear all your tips for a nice family dinner.
We're looking for quality over speed, so please read on.
Share your family dinner table etiquette "Dos and Don'ts" and advice in a thoughtful, original essay post of at least 400 original words.
How it works:
