Take out the trash, eat your broccoli—who needs moms, anyway? Nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green) finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young. Produced by the team behind “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” and “The Polar Express,” “Mars Needs Moms” showcases Milo’s quest to save his mom—a wild adventure in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader (Mindy Sterling). With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble (Dan Fogler) and a rebel Martian girl called Ki (Elisabeth Harnois), Milo just might find his way back to his mom—in more ways than one.

In honor of the March 11th release of "Mars Needs Moms," SocialMoms is bringing you an entertaining new blogging program that asks you what are the top ten things you think your kids would miss most about you if you were abducted by aliens/Martians? Will they miss your warm, home-cooked meals? Will they miss the games you play at bath time? Do you think they'll miss your hugs the most? Will they miss your silly jokes or goofy laugh? Maybe your bedtime stories would be longed for? We’d love to hear what you think your kids would miss most about you in a thoughtful, original blog post.

We're looking for quality over speed, so please read on.

How it works:
We are looking for one hundred creative, original and authentic submissions of high quality. Please stay on topic. Create an original post on your blog, in 400 words or more (using your own words), outlining the top ten things your kids would miss most about you if you were abducted by aliens. Include a thoughtful introduction, original content within the body of your post, and a conclusion. Check your spelling and your grammar. You must also include the disclosure statement below in your post and install the campaign widget in the sidebar of your blog. Then follow the rest of the requirements below. We will review every post and select the first 100 qualifying submissions to receive a $25 Amazon.com gift card!

Highlights and excerpts from your posts, will be featured on http://marsneedsmoms.socialmoms.com, and distributed across the web for all to see. The blogging program starts on February 28, 2011 and the submission window closes at 11:59pm PST on March 29, 2011. We will contact the qualifying bloggers on or about April 5, 2011. Full terms and conditions are posted for your review at http://marsneedsmoms.socialmoms.com/terms.
