Tell us what brings comfort and joy to your life and how you share that with others, or share how someone else has comforted you or brought a soft touch to you in your time of need, in a thoughtful, original essay of at least 400 words. The first 50 qualified submissions will be rewarded with a $40 gift card from our friends at Kleenex®! Additionally, one random qualified submission will get a $250 gift card!

How it works:
We are looking for creative, original and authentic submissions of high quality. Create an original post on your blog, in 400 words or more (using your own words), sharing what brings comfort and joy to your life and how you share that with others. You can also share how someone else has comforted you in your time of need. Did a friend help babysit your children when you were taking care of a sick parent? Does baking cookies make you and your family happy? Do you bring them to a friend’s house and share them while you catch up? We want to hear about all the special things that make you happy or how others have touched you in your time of need in the past.

In your essay, include a thoughtful introduction, original content within the body of your post, and a conclusion. Check your spelling and your grammar. You must also include the disclosure statement below in your post and install the campaign widget in the sidebar of your blog. Then follow the rest of the requirements below. We will select up to the first 50 qualified submissions to receive a $40 gift card, and one random qualified submission to receive a $250 gift card!

Highlights from your posts, tweets and tips will be collected and featured on http://sharekleenex.twittermoms.com, and distributed across the web for all to see. The blogging program starts on November 18, 2010 and the submission window closes at 11:59pm PST on December 17, 2010. We will contact the qualifying bloggers on or about December 22, 2010. Requirements:
To participate, we ask that you:

1. Create an original blog post on your blog, in 400 words or more, sharing "what brings comfort, joy or a soft touch to your life." Please include a thoughtful introduction and conclusion in addition to the main body of your essay. Give it plenty of thought, make it special for your readers! Brief or incomplete posts will not be accepted. Blank posts submitted to generate a link to hold a place on the discussion page will be disqualified. Really detail your experience.  Copying and pasting does not count. Don't copy another blogger's post or ideas. Plagiarism is grounds for immediate disqualification.

2. Participants must include the following disclosure statement as a footnote of their post: “I wrote this blog post while participating in the TwitterMoms and Kleenex blogging program, making me eligible to get a $40 gift card. For more information on how you can participate, click here.” (make sure you link to: http://sharekleenex.twittermoms.com/about)

3. Please include a link in your post to the Softness Worth Sharing web site: http://kleenex.com/softnessworthsharing so your readers can send a free pack of Kleenex tissue to someone special!

4. Install the campaign widget in the side bar of your blog.
