Share 5 fun family vacation activities your kids will love, and get a $50 gift card!

Once the kids are old enough, it's fun to start a tradition of taking family vacations. From simple day-trips or weekend getaways, to extended vacations far away, these times with the family really bring everyone closer together and create lasting memories. As parents, we want to make sure these trips are full of activities our kids will love, and remember for years to come.

Williamsburg Tourism and TwitterMoms are introducing a fun new blogging program which asks you to write about "Five Fun Family Vacation Activities Your Kids Will Love."  Would you take a great road trip with the kids to go camping in a national park?  Do your kids dream of spending a weekend at an amusement or water park? Do you plan special games to play as a family on the plane or in the car? We want to hear about your most fun family vacation activities you like to plan with the kids! We'd love to have you post some pictures of past vacation experiences as well if you have them!

How it works:

Create a post on your blog about "Fun Family Vacation Activities Your Kids Will Love."  Post the campaign widget inside your blog post. Then, follow the rest of the requirements below. The first 50 qualified submissions will receive a $50 Target gift card.

Your posts will be collected and featured on, and distributed across the web for all to see. We are extremely excited about this opportunity, since we think programs like this can drive a lot of traffic to your blogs and help you build your reader base. The blogging program starts on May 18, 2010 and the submission window closes at 11:59pm PST on June 16, 2010.  We will contact the people whose submissions have been selected on or about June 21, 2010. To participate, we ask that you:

1. Create an original blog post on your blog sharing "Five Fun Family Vacation Activities Your Kids Will Love."

2. Include at least one obvious link back to this discussion page ( in your post, so your readers can learn more, and include it in your disclosure message regarding what prompted your post.
