Closed - Share tips for keeping your family cold and flu-free for a $40 Amazon.com gift card!

Thank you for your interest in this program. As of 1:43pm PST, 10/5/11, we have received over 100 blog submissions and are in the process of verifying each post. We will be in touch with everyone who submitted a blog link on this page regarding your rewards for participating.

With fall and winter quickly approaching, keeping our children healthy and minimizing the impact of cold and flu season is top of mind. Germs can spread easily when kids are in school sharing lunches and school supplies, playing with friends, and participating in extracurricular activities. It’s important to keep your kids healthy so they can stay active, alert and not miss any school. The experts at Lysol recommend getting a flu shot, washing your hands with soap and water and scrub thoroughly for 20 seconds, and routinely clean and disinfect surfaces to help stop the spread of germs. Lysol Spray and Lysol Wipes kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on hard non porous surfaces.

To join Lysol’s mission and spread the word about helping to keep your family healthy, we are introducing a new blogging program. We want you to share what steps, tips, tricks or precautions you and your family take to stay cold and flu free in an original blog post. Do you take your family to get flu shots before the cold season starts? Are you teaching your kids to cover their mouth and nose with their elbows when they sneeze or cough, or to always carry some tissues? Have you taught your children the importance of washing their hands regularly after playing outside or before they eat? We can’t wait to hear all your tips for keeping your kids healthy and comfortable this cold and flu season.

Bonus Opportunity:  Like Lysol® on Facebook and get a flu shot badge and an opportunity to receive a $5 flu shot rebate. Learn more about the flu rebate at www.lysol.com/flufree123

We're looking for quality over speed, so please read on.
